He is survived by his wife Edna, daughters Anne-Mare, Barbara, and Cathie, his son Bill, their spouses, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Arraignments have not been finalized, however we do anticipate a wake on Sunday with the funeral on Monday. My brother Tommy and his friends go to almost every home game, and they have a real tailgate party before and after each game.

My brother and his friends transformed this old carpenters truck into a tailgating machine called Touchdown Lounge. They picked me up at 8:30am and after pickup up another large group of folks we made it to the Stadium parking lot by 9:45. After a quick 15 minute setup, they had the tent up, the grill started and the tallest flagpole in the parking lot erected with a Patriots flag and a flashing light on top.

Every time that I offered to do something I was told, just relax, everything is under control, and it was. There was all kinds of food, from soup, chicken wings, meatballs and calzones to steak tips and chicken, and that was all before the game. After the game, it starts again with sandwiches, sausages hotdogs and hamburgers.

The Pats beat the Bills 20 to 10 in a good game. Matt Cassel played great and the defense really held their own, unfortunately we lost Adalius Thomas for the year who suffered a broken left forearm. It will be a short week for the Pats as the Jets come to Foxboro on Thursday evening for a game that will determine who will be in first place in the AFC East. And the Touchdown Lounge crew will be there again on Thursday. I will not be there on Thursday, but I will be thinking about them and hope that I can join them for another game this year.

Go Pats ....

Technorati Tags: Patriots

I love it.

After crafting a post for my syadmin.net blog, I thought I would drop some thoughts here. I put on iTunes and started listening to a stream of Aerosmith ... I bet that many folks are saying the same thing this weekend, "Where did the summer go?" It seems like yesterday that this nice weather started and the students left for the summer. It's so nice driving to work with 90% of the student population somewhere else. The only consolation for me is Football Season and the Patriots start next week which I am looking forward to.

Cathie and I were out doing errands today and we stopped in at Dairy Joy in Weston for supper. We had Molly and Rocky with us and it was a perfect place to get good takeout, eat in the car and not have to worry about the dogs who love to walk around the grounds there.
