Across the Universe

I watched the movie Across the Universe last night and loved it. I was thinking about it all day today and had to write about it.

If you do not know the story line, it is a love story wrapped around a Rock and Roll musical set to Beatles songs, and it was great. The storyline was set in the late 60's at the beginning of the Vietnam war, and was a great mixture of  music with psychedelics and the sting of the War and the Draft. I have not seen anything that reminds me of that combination in along time.

I watched this in HI-DEF and the the psychedelics were so cool, especially Bono singing I am a Walrus ......... 

 

 

But the ending was really moving and I loved the last song ....
